Proof of Address requirement can differ from one merchant to another.
Please make sure you read the specific requirement of the merchant before registration.
List of possible reasons of rejections
- This type of document is not accepted by the merchant.
In most cases, you need to provide a utility bill or a bank statement showing your name and the address provided in the mobile application.
- The document is in your local language.
Most of the merchants require a document in english. In some exceptional cases, other languages are accepted. Please read the merchant's requirement before submitting your proof of address
- The document is not readable
It is recommended to use your phone camera to take a picture of the document. Please make sure that the photo includes your name, your address, the date and the issuer of the document.
Digital documents can be accepted in some cases, long vertical documents will be resized and the quality degraded. If you want to upload a digital document, please make sure the size is similar to a Letter / A4 page
- The document is too old
Merchant usually sets a period of validity for proof of address. In most cases, the document should not be older than 3 months.
