Blockpass provides different Tiers of verification to Merchants. Depending on the type of verification that a Service sets as a requirement, different documents may be accepted.
Verified Identity Documents
Passport is currently the only document that can be verified through Blockpass. This means that if a Service is requesting a Verified ID, you will only be able to use your Passport right now.
Only Internationally recognized Passports are accepted (for example, a Russian or Ukrainian internal passport can not be accepted). Any Internationally recognized Passport that has an MRZ (Machine-readable zone) can be verified.
PASS Club Membership / PASS whitelisting
For the purpose of Whitelisting of your PASS (ETH) address and becoming a member of PASS Club, a user is required to complete PASS Verify first.
PASS Verify is a base-level Identity Verification. It is used by PASS Club to verify its members before whitelisting, and is also used by some Services as a lower-tier Verification.
You can use both your Passport or a National ID card for this type of verification.
Blockpass app supports around 100 different National ID cards in addition to Passports.
If your Passport or ID card has expired, it will not be accepted. Your passport must be valid for at least one more month.
