It requires that anyone logging into your account not only have a password but also an access code. This code can be obtained in the Authentication app on your phone (see a list of authentication apps at the end of this article).
Setting up Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
Because of the popularity of 2FA and the importance of two-factor authentication methods. Blockpass Admin Console has an easy activation process.
To begin the setup of two-factor authentication, the following is required:
- A Blockpass Business Admin Console account.
- A computer or a mobile device with an authentication app installed.
Please follow the steps below once the above conditions have been met.
1. Logging in with a Password
Step 1: Access https://oauth.blockpass.org/ or https://console.blockpass.org/ and log in using your credential.
Step 2: After a successful login, you will see the interface below.
Continue by clicking ENABLE 2FA and enter your password or CONTINUE WITH GOOGLE if you log in using your Google account
Step 3: Click START PAIRING, and the system will provide you with a QR code or a code (key) to enter manually.
Step 4: Open your 2FA app on your mobile device and scan it. If you can not scan it, enter key manually.
Step 5: Click CONTINUE and type the 2FA code generated by the authentication app to confirm sync.
After completing the synchronization, 2FA has been activated for your account.
We suggest that you install an authentication app on at least two distinct devices. This ensures that you can still access your account if one of your devices is lost or damaged.
Turning off Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
Please note that 2FA is now required, so if you disable it, you will be asked to enable it at your next login.
To turn off 2FA on your account, kindly follow these steps:
Step 1: Head to your Account Settings page https://oauth.blockpass.org
Step 2: Turn off the Two-factor authentication setting.
