In summer 2022, Blockpass has released a new version of the mobile application. Users of the old version must migrate their accounts. If you already use the newest version, you don't need to do anything.

The new version's icon has a blue background, while the old version's icon has a white background

How to migrate?

Open the old application

  • In the menu, select "Backup" 
  • Click the button backup and save the file locally

Open the new application

  • Use your email to login (the same email used in old application)
  • Enter the passcode that was sent to your inbox

The application is now asking for your backup file

  • Select the backup file that was saved earlier
  • Input the password that you used in the old application.

Your account is now restored in the new application

  • Enter a strong password to secure your account.

Migration is completed, you can now delete the old version.
