If you encounter difficulties connecting your wallet via the web on your mobile device (Safari browser), consider employing the following alternative method to establish the connection.

This instruction is for when you are required to provide and connect an Ethereum address and use Metamask. For other crypto addresses i.e. Polygon, or Binance, you can also refer to this article to apply the same manual wallet connect procedure. 

If you are getting an issue when connecting your wallet. Return to this page and click ‘Unable to connect your wallet?’ and 'Continue'

  • Input your wallet and click 'Add Ethereum address' -> 'Copy and Continue'

  • Hold your Blockpass profile tab there and open another tab to take the message sign and signature

Ethereum - https://etherscan.io/verifiedSignatures# 

Polygon - https://polygonscan.com/verifiedSignatures 

On etherscan.io web, click 'Sign Message'

  • Select the relevant wallet that you intend to collect.

There are two main directions to connect a wallet:

1. Directly connect the wallet on the same device (Desktop or mobile phone)

  • Select Metamask and enter the password to Unlock the wallet 
  • Click 'Next' and then 'Connect'

  • The Sign Message window is opened, now paste the message that you copied in your Blockpass profile and click 'Sign Message'
  • Click 'Sign' on Metamask

  • Now, remember NOT to click on 'PUBLIC' in case you do not intend to public the Signed Message on Etherscan. You can 'Close' instead

  • Copy the Signature Hash and paste it to your current window of Blockpass profile

Once done, click SAVE to complete your wallet connection.

2. Web browser on the desktop to connect the wallet on the mobile phone

  • After you click 'Sign Message' on the Etherscan (guided at the beginning of the article), click on 'Wallet Connect' it will open a QR code
  • Open the 'Scan' button in your Metamask and click on 'Connect' 
  • Back to the https://etherscan.io/verifiedSignatures# tab, now paste the message that you copied in your Blockpass profile and click 'Sign Message'

  • Check your Metamask on mobile you will see a notification allowing you to Sign a message

Remember NOT to click on 'PUBLIC' in case you do not intend to public the Signed Message on Etherscan. You can 'Close' instead

  • Copy the Signature Hash and paste it to your current window of Blockpass profile

Once done, click save to complete your wallet connection.
