The User Profile Dashboard provides a comprehensive view of user profiles, allowing operators to navigate and understand the information contained within each section easily. When operators click on a profile from the user's list view, they will be directed to the detailed view of that profile.
The detailed view is located in the left navigation panel and consists of three main parts: Summary, Certificates, and Blockpass Profile.
-
Summary Tab
The Summary tab provides the following information:
- General user information, including their KYC status and submission timeline.
- The comments section allows you to add notes to the profile. Please note that comments cannot be edited or deleted after they are added.
- Logs, which provide a detailed overview of the KYC process for the user's profile, including their (re)submissions and any actions taken by operators.
- Various actions can be performed on the user's profile, such as exporting, archiving, deleting, or blocking.
-
Certificates Tab
The certificates tab is available when using the paid Plan for your service. This tab lets operators view the results of KYC checks automatically conducted by the Blockpass system.
There are five types of certificates available (the number of certificates may vary based on the client's registered service plan):
- Identity Authentication
- Sanction List and PEP
- Face Match
- Proof of address (Enterprise services - Customers collect proof of address from users)
- Crypto address (Enterprise services - Customers enable the Unhosted Wallet KYC)
By clicking on the title of each certificate, operators can examine the detailed results:
The "Details" section presents the specific issues flagged by the system, assisting operators in conducting thorough checks and implementing appropriate remediation measures.
For a better understanding of the results displayed in the certificates, please refer to the following article.
Note:
- The color of the bullet icon next to a certificate shows if there is an issue that should be investigated more. The section/ certificate result is CLEAR if the icon is blue. It could be orange or red, depending on the severity of the issue.
- Each certificate is cryptographically signed by the issuer and by Blockpass. These signatures should always show as matched; an unmatched certificate suggests a possible forgery.
-
Blockpass Profile
This section details the user's submitted data, allowing operators to investigate and take appropriate actions thoroughly. Operators can either approve the profile or initiate remediation if any discrepancies are found in relation to Blockpass or customer-defined KYC standards.
Operators can approve the profile or carry on the remediation if they determine any issue against the KYC Standards of Blockpass or Customer.
Actions during Profile Review
- Starting a Profile Review
To begin processing a profile, operators can click "START REVIEW" at the bottom-left of the profile detail view. This action moves the profile from the "Waiting for Review" status to "In-Review," enabling operators to proceed with remediation.
- Available Actions
After initiating the review, KYC operators can either accept all attributes of the profile or reject specific attributes with a customized message. It is crucial to review all attributes before accepting and approving the profile carefully.
Sending Reminders to Users
In cases where a profile is rejected, and users fail to address the issues or overlook notification emails, operators can click "SEND REMINDER" with a customized message. This action sends a reminder to users, notifying them of the current status of their profile or prompting them to take specific actions.
Return to Dashboard Overview
After finishing the remediation on a profile, you can return to the main page of the Dashboard by clicking the Blockpass icon at the top-left corner.

When utilizing Blockpass, your document undergoes two checks. Firstly, it is scanned to extract personal information such as your name, surname, date of birth, etc. Secondly, our AI verifies the authenticity of your document.
We strongly advise using a smartphone to capture the picture of your Identity Document. If you use our Web application on a laptop, click the "EMAIL ME A LINK" button. This will send a link to your email address, allowing you to easily continue on your smartphone by opening the link.
While capturing a picture that meets our requirements can sometimes be challenging, we provide the following tips to guide you through the process:
✅ Do | ❌ Don't |
Take a live picture of your physical ID document |
Submit a non-live ID image, scan, or photo from the screen |
Select the appropriate category for your document | Submit a different type of document from the ID type selection |
Use landscape mode when taking a picture with a mobile phone |
Take a picture in portrait mode. This reduces the size of the ID shown in the image, which may result in difficulties when reading the data |
Ensure all four corners of the ID are visible |
Crop the image results in some information on the ID being obscured or lost |
Minimize glare, shadows, and reflections on the ID | Take a picture with glare, shadows, or reflections obscuring the information |
Take a clear picture where all data is readable and nothing obscures the ID information | Take a blurry picture or a picture where something (ex, your fingers) covers part of the ID information |
💡 Other tips |
|
Focus Issues: If your device has trouble focusing on the Identity Document, consider clearing the cache, data, and permissions, and then try again.
Lighting: Use natural light whenever possible. Avoid using flash, as it can create glare. Background: Use a dark, solid-colored background to help your ID document stand out. |
|
Reading failures: If our system cannot read your Identity Document or fails to read the back side, try taking photos of both sides as the front side of your Identity Document or Driving License instead.
Intra-country (domestic) documents: Some countries (e.g., Russia, Ukraine) have internally accepted passports that are not recognized internationally. Such documents are considered "national identity documents." |
These guidelines ensure a smooth verification process and help maintain the integrity of our platform. If you encounter any difficulties, please don't hesitate to ask for assistance at https://help.blockpass.org/hc/en-us/requests/new
