Blockpass's Crypto AML API-First solution screens crypto wallet addresses for illicit activity, without requiring users to complete a full KYC process. It's ideal when wallet-level risk screening is all you need — for example, before a deposit, withdrawal, or on-chain transaction.

How it works:

  1. Blockpass team configures the service for your account.
  2. From there, you can either:
    • Integrate via API to submit wallet addresses and pull results programmatically, or
    • Skip integration — submit wallet checks by request (e.g. by email) and view results directly in the KYC Dashboard.

Supported Wallets

Type of Wallet Crypto AML Check
EVM address (e.g. Ethereum, Polygon, BSC)
Bitcoin address
Cardano (ADA) address
Avalanche address Check is conducted on the Ethereum Layer 1 network
Arbitrum address Check is conducted on the Ethereum Layer 1 network

What the Check Does

The Crypto AML API analyzes a wallet address for links to illicit activities such as dark market dealings, gambling, client deposits, or large transactions over 10k and returns a risk score.

  • Auto-Review: Wallets with a CLEAR result are automatically approved.
  • Manual Review: Flagged wallets are held for manual decision.

Accessing Results

Key Benefits

  • Minimal Data Required — only a wallet address, no PII.
  • Flexible Access — integrate via API, or just use the dashboard.
  • Reduced Friction — no redirects, no repeated data entry.
  • Cost Efficient — avoid full KYC unless required.
  • Real-Time Risk Scores for fast decision-making.
  • Secure by Design — data is processed and stored within Blockpass's secure infrastructure; access is controlled strictly by the customer, removing the need to send results by email or other insecure channels.
