Blockpass provides the AML Ongoing Monitoring service to ensure the integrity of user screening through continuous, automated surveillance of Sanctions and Politically Exposed Person (PEP) databases. Because compliance profiles are dynamic, this service is designed to capture real-time shifts in risk status that occur after the initial onboarding.

1. Service Functionality & Risk Mitigation

The AML status of a user is non-static; "clean" profiles can shift to "high-risk" based on global events. Ongoing Monitoring ensures that compliance certificates reflect these changes in real-time.

  • Data Frequency: The system performs automated checks against Sanctions, PEP, and Adverse Media lists, which are refreshed on a daily basis.
  • Status Volatility: Blockpass acknowledges that red flags and whitelists are subject to change. The service identifies these shifts to prevent the use of expired or inaccurate AML data.
  • True Positive Resolution: In the event of a "True Positive" match, the service facilitates prompt status updates, allowing compliance officers to mitigate risk and take necessary action (such as freezing accounts or enhanced due diligence) immediately.

2. Access and Dashboard Management

The Ongoing Monitoring environment is a restricted workspace managed in coordination with Blockpass.

  • Access Control: Access is granted and managed directly by the Blockpass Team.
  • Onboarding: Authorized users will receive an invitation to a dedicated service dashboard.
  • Data Handling: Within the dashboard, administrators can upload user data for screening and monitor the live status of their user base. This centralized view ensures all active certificates remain valid and compliant with current global standards.

3. Contractual Framework and Commitment

The service is governed by a recurring fixed-term agreement to ensure uninterrupted screening coverage.
