Proof of Address – Document Guidelines
To successfully verify your address, please provide one of the accepted document types and ensure it meets the following requirements.
Accepted Document Types

Utility bills (gas, electricity, water, internet, or landline)

Bank statements (current account or credit card)

Statements from regulated financial institutions

Bank reference letters

Government-issued documents (e.g., tax returns, identity cards)
Document Requirements

Must be issued within the last 3 months

Must be valid and not expired (for identity documents)

Must clearly show:

The issuer’s name
-
Your full name
-
Your current residential address
-

Must reflect the address you are verifying

Must be issued in your name
Additional Guidelines

Documents must be original and unaltered
-
You may redact sensitive financial information if needed

Clear and legible photos or screenshots are acceptable

The image must show your name, address, issue date, and issuer clearly

Slight blurring is acceptable as long as the information remains readable
-
Government-issued IDs (e.g., passport, driver’s license) may be used as proof of address only if different from the document used for identity verification

Handwritten documents and personal correspondence are not accepted
-
Documents in Cyrillic, Latin, Chinese, Vietnamese, or Japanese characters are accepted

Please also provide your address in English for verification

Non-English documents may take longer to process

If you're submitting your proof of address from outside your home country, please notify us after submission at support@blockpass.org
