This article outlines the process and implications for Users wishing to delete their Blockpass identity account. Users are advised to read this information carefully before submitting a deletion request.

1. Deletion Request Process

If you ask Blockpass to delete your identity account, we will start a review process. This can take up to 2 weeks.
During this time, we may ask for more information to confirm your identity and make sure you are allowed to delete the account.

2. Data Shared with Other Services

If you shared your Blockpass profile with other services, you must contact them directly to ask them to delete your data.
Some companies, like banks or financial services, may need to keep your data for legal reasons. Blockpass cannot control or change how those companies manage your data.

3. What Happens After Deletion

Once your account is deleted, the action is final and cannot be undone.
Here’s what will happen:

  • All your data will be erased from Blockpass and cannot be recovered.

  • You will lose access to all services connected to your Blockpass account.

  • Your records will be deleted from the Blockpass system.

4. What You Should Do Before Deleting

Before sending a deletion request, go to identity.blockpass.org and check which services are linked to your profile.
Make sure to save any important information from these services before deleting your account.

5. How to Confirm Deletion

If you understand and accept the aforementioned conditions and still wish to proceed with the deletion of your Blockpass identity account, reply to your current conversation with Blockpass Support (for example, your support ticket or email).

If you have not sent a data deletion request, you can contact the Blockpass Support Team by emailing support@blockpass.org or via a Support Form.
