Blockpass is introducing a new capability designed to enhance the efficiency of customer verification workflows. This update enables the direct migration of your existing KYC data from external databases or previous KYC providers into the Blockpass platform.
This integration provides a method for managing verification data by allowing customers to transfer and consolidate user data to the Blockpass service. This process utilizes previously collected and verified information, supporting continuity in tracking old and new submissions within Blockpass.
Process for Data Import:
The data migration process is structured to facilitate secure and efficient transfer:
- Data Export: Customers export data from the user's existing data management system or prior KYC provider.
- Secure Data Sharing: The exported data is then securely shared with Blockpass.
- API Submission by Blockpass: Blockpass will submit this data programmatically via the KYCC Dashboard API.
- Status Retrieval: The status of verification checks for the submitted data can be retrieved using the existing KYC Status API.
Data Displayed After Transition
Once your data is successfully transitioned to Blockpass, you will have a clear view of your user information, including:
- Full name of user
- Date of birth
- Residential address
- Email address
- KYC Status
This information will be presented in an organized and accessible format within the Blockpass dashboard, as illustrated below:
Benefits of this Feature:
This feature aims to:
- Reduce instances of redundant data entry.
- Support a systematic transition of KYC operations to Blockpass.
- Contribute to the acceleration of user onboarding processes.
- Centralize KYC data management within the Blockpass platform.
