Step-by-Step Guide to Completing Your KYC Process via WebID on Desktop

To initiate your KYC process via the web ID, follow the steps below:

Access the KYC Link and Log in

Click on the KYC link provided by the service you wish to onboard with, and then click on the "Verify with Blockpass" button to start your registration.

Press the "Start" button to proceed.

Enter your email address and click on "Continue".

Continue on your desktop, check your email (from identity@blockpass.org) for a magic link, and click on "Continue Registration" in the email.

Open the email you received and click on "Continue Registration".

Build Your Identity Profile and Register

After clicking 'Continue Registration', you will be directed to a page to build your identity profile.

• Identity Document

Select the type of identity document (e.g., Passport, National ID, or Driving License). Capture pictures of the front and back sides of your ID.

Your Given Name, Family Name, and Date of Birth will be automatically populated from your ID. Correct any inaccuracies if needed. 

Note: On your submission, please take a live image of your physical Identity Document.

• Selfie Picture

Take a live selfie by clicking on "Selfie" and follow the instructions.

• Proof of Address (POA)

If required, click "Upload" to submit a valid proof of address document and enter the residential address that matches the one displayed on the proof of address.

• Connect your crypto wallet

We recommend connecting your wallet on your desktop for a smooth experience. For detailed instructions, refer to the video tutorial below.

• Register Your Profile

In the last step, tap the "Register" button to save and share your profile with the service.

(Optional) Set Your Password

After completing the registration, you can set a password for your Blockpass Identity account by following the instructions below.

Check Profile Status

To check the status of your profile:

• You will receive an email notifying you that your submission has been sent to the service. Click on the "Your registration status" button in the email.
• Alternatively, you can visit identity.blockpass.org and log in with your email address and created password to check your profile status.
• In addition, via identity.blockpass.org, you can manage your account information, change your password, and explore the Blockpass marketplace.
