This article allows you to understand the purpose and content of each section in the user’s profile. When the operator clicks on a profile from the user’s list view of a dashboard, they will see the detailed view of this profile.
The detail view is located in the left navigation panel which consists of 3 main parts: Summary, Certificates, and Blockpass profile.
This view allows the KYC operator to quickly check the sets of attributes and certificates that are collected from the users. It depends on the settings the business chose when the dashboard was configured.
1. Summary tab
The Summary tab shows:
- General information of the user as well as their KYC status and submission timeline.
- Comments allow the operator to add a comment as a note of a profile. Please note that you cannot edit or delete your comment after adding it.
- Logs show the detailed KYC process of the user's profile (user’s (re)submissions/ operator’s actions).
- The actions that you can do with the user's profile such as export, archive, delete and block.
2. Certificates tab
The certificates tab is presented only when you use the paid Plan for your service. Via this tab, the operator can see the KYC check results automatically run by the Blockpass system.
There are four kinds of certificates:
(The number of certificates may lower based on the Plan that client registers for their service)
- Identity Authentication
- Sanction List and PEP (Included in the Plus/ Enterprise Plus Plan)
- Face Match
- Proof of Address (Enterprise services - Client collects the proof of address of users)
The operator can check the result in detail by clicking on the title of the certificate accordingly:
The ‘Details’ part presents exactly the issue flagged by the system, which helps the operator to check and have appropriate remediation.
In order to understand the result displayed in the certificates, kindly refer to the article below: https://help.blockpass.org/hc/en-gb/articles/360022656353-Can-you-explain-the-result-displayed-in-the-certificates-
Note:
- The color of the bullet icon next to a certificate shows if there is an issue that should be investigated more. If the icon is blue then the section/ certificate result is CLEAR. It could be orange or red depending on the severity of the issue.
- Each certificate is cryptographically signed by the issuer and by Blockpass. These signatures should always show as matched, an unmatched certificate suggests a possible forgery.
3. Blockpass profile
This group displays the submitted data of the user, which allows the operator to investigate in detail and may take actions accordingly.
Operators can approve the profile or carry on the remediation if determine any issue against the KYC Standards of Blockpass or Client.
Actions when reviewing profiles
1. Starting a profile review
When the operator wants to process a profile. Please click START REVIEW at the bottom-left of the profile detail view then the profile will move from [͏Waiting for Review] status to [In-Review] status and will allow operators to carry on the remediation.
2. Actions
After clicking START REVIEW, KYC operators will have options to either ACCEPT ALL attributes of the profile or REJECT some specific attributes with their customized message.
Please review carefully all the attributes before you choose to ACCEPT ALL to approve the profile.
Sending reminders to users
After rejecting a profile, there will be a case that users do not try to fix their profiles or did not see the notification email. Clicking SEND REMINDER with a customized message will send the message to notify the users about the current status of their profile or remind the users to perform specific actions.
Return to Dashboard Overview
After finishing the remediation on a profile, you can return to the main page of the Dashboard by clicking the Blockpass icon at the top-left corner.
