The 'Review Requested' status is now available in the KYC dashboard, which allows customers to request users to resubmit their up-to-date data.

Context

This feature is used in the following circumstances:

Expired Certificates

  • All Blockpass verification certificates have an expiration date. Refer to Understanding the KYC Certificate Results and Certificate Expiration for details. While an expired certificate is reflected in the profile, it doesn't affect the overall profile status.
  • Request a review to ensure the user's data is up-to-date and the certificate is renewed.

Periodic Reviews

  • Even if certificates haven't expired, periodic reviews help verify the accuracy of submitted data. Use 'Request a Review' to initiate these checks.

Restoring Archived Data

  • Profiles may be archived due to our data retention policy, your actions, or On-chain KYC usage.
  • Request a review to ask users to resubmit their data. Note that the resubmitted data may differ from previous submissions.

How to Request a Review?

  • Open Profile: Select the profile you want to review.
  • Locate Button: The 'REQUEST A REVIEW' button is located in the bottom left corner of the profile.

  • Assign Profile (if necessary): If you don't see the button, assign the profile to yourself first.

  • Submit Request: Click 'REQUEST A REVIEW,' modify the message if needed, and then click 'OK' and 'SUBMIT.'

User Action

  • Notification: The user will receive an email prompting them to review and resubmit their data.
  • Data Update: If a certificate has expired, the user must update the relevant details. They also have the option to update any other information as needed. If all certificates are still valid, the user can resubmit their profile without making any changes.
  • Verification: If the user provides new information, the profile will undergo re-verification, and new certificates will be issued. If no updates are made, the existing certificate results will remain unchanged. Additional action from the bot or operators may be required based on the outcome.
