What is an Archived Profile?
An archived profile is a user account where all underlying data has been removed from your dashboard while preserving certain information such as KYC status, submission history (logs), and certificate results. This means that the user's personal details are no longer directly accessible.
When Does a Profile Get Archived?
There are several reasons why a profile might be archived:
- Service Policy Compliance: Profiles with completed KYC statuses are automatically archived after a specific period, typically 2 months after submission for on-chain KYC services and 4 weeks after submission for Pay-as-you-go services.
-
Customer Action: Customers can manually archive a specific profile from the Summary tab within that profile in the service dashboard, or set up automatic archiving using the API.
Filtering Archived Profiles
To quickly locate archived profiles in your dashboard, use the Filter tool:

-

-
RefID (Merchant Reference): This is a local user ID assigned by your team or integrated by Blockpass as requested. You can search for profiles by clicking

-
User's Email Address: While email addresses are typically deleted when profiles are archived, a new feature allows you to search for archived profiles using the email address if you have it. You can search for profiles using the
Search by email
quick filter.
Can Archived Data Be Restored?
No, archiving is a one-way process. Once data is archived, it cannot be restored. This measure is in place to protect user privacy. If you need the user's data again, you can request that they resubmit it.
